Payment / payment method
Prepayment by bank transfer:
After you have completed your order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order, including our bank details. If you have not received this e-mail, it is probably due to an incorrectly typed e-mail address or you have not completed the order. To check this, you can write to us by e-mail or start the order again. We will confirm receipt of the invoice amount to our account in the email you have provided. The queens will then be shipped in the shipping period you have chosen. Please note that delivery will only be made after full payment. For orders over 1.000 €, the reservation can be made with a 50% deposit. The outstanding 50% of the invoice amount must be paid at least 15 days before the start of the delivery period to ensure timely delivery.
We recommend that you pay in time after placing the order, because the binding reservation is only made after your order has been paid. If another beekeeper orders and pays before you in between your order and later payment, they will have priority over you and the delivery period may be postponed. Therefore, we recommend immediate payment of the amount of your invoice.
Ordering in advance offers you as a customer the security that you will receive the ordered products on time. It offers us planning security, so we know how many beehives we need to deliver for each season and thus have the right amount ready for each customer.
You will receive our bank details via order confirmation email. This will be sent to you as soon as you place your order.
Ordering procedure
In general, you must first choose the right product. On the product page you select the appropriate delivery period and quantity and click on “Add to shopping cart”. You can then click on the shopping cart (top right icon) and complete the order by entering your address and contact details (and a valid e-mail address).
If Vasilises.gr is not working for technical reasons or you belong to the “pre-Internet” generation, you can also call us to place an order. You can find our phone number at the top right. If you cannot contact us by phone, please send us an email at info@vasilises.gr
In general, you should try ordering through our online apiary. Good customer service is very important to us – so if an in-store order is not possible, we can also place a manual order for you.
Because professionals subject to VAT will clear the amount of VAT when they submit their periodic returns. This is done by subtracting VAT outputs from VAT inputs (essentially “VAT paid – VAT paid”).
Delivery and shipment
The queens are sent via Couriert Postal Service. Express delivery can also be arranged on request (at an additional charge). For international shipments, we recommend expedited delivery. The artificial flocks and nucs are delivered by us or by arrangement with transport companies. Shipping costs are depending on the type of product and the delivery area, calculated upon request. Shipping more than 10 Basilicas is Free.
Yes, live delivery is guaranteed by us. If the exceptional case arises and the queens arrive dead , please send us an e-mail on the day of delivery with a photo clearly showing the damaged queens and packaging. If you do not send us an e-mail with a photo on the day you receive “damaged” bees, the warranty claim expires. More details can be found on the Delivery and Shipping Costs page.
Our bee deliveries usually start from mid-March until the end of September.
We usually ship your queens Monday to Thursday, so they arrive safely to you Tuesday to Friday. Weekend delivery is usually not possible. For larger order quantities for professional beekeepers, this may vary depending on the arrangement, so that direct weekend delivery is possible. In any case, you will be informed by e-mail about the dispatch of your bees, whether they are artificial swarms, beehives or queens.
Yes, we deliver queens to other European countries as well. If you cannot select your country when ordering, then you can note it in the comment with the correct address. If you experience difficulties when ordering, you can contact us by e-mail. Artificial swarms and offshoots shall be delivered on request.

Queens
We mark all our queens if you request it with a small charge of 0,8 € / Queen. The queen is simply marked with the color of the year.
No, we don’t generally clip the wings of queens for various reasons. On the one hand, we are not in favour of the practice as such, and on the other hand, the Queen may be injured.
In addition to the queen and the forager, there are at least three to five other worker bees in the dispatch cage.
We offer the breeds Buckfast, Carnica, Cecropia and Ligustica.
